Don’t Look Up is a party guessing game. One person holds the phone to their forehead so they can’t see the word. Everyone else gives clues. Tilt the phone down when you get it right, up to pass, and keep going until the timer runs out.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account to play?
No. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no logins. Open the app and start a round. Your decks and settings live on your device.
What does DLU Pro include?
DLU Pro unlocks Party Mode: AirPlay the game to a TV so the whole room can see the word, and SharePlay it over FaceTime so friends who aren’t in the room can play along. Everything else — the built-in decks, custom decks, and normal pass-the-phone play — works without Pro.
I bought Pro but it isn’t showing up.
Open the Pro screen in the app and tap Restore Purchases. That asks Apple to re-check your purchase history and re-unlock Pro. Make sure you’re signed in with the same Apple Account you used to buy it. If it still doesn’t restore, email us and we’ll help you work out what happened.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not inside the app. On your device open Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions, tap Don’t Look Up, and choose Cancel Subscription. Your Pro features stay active until the end of the period you already paid for. Deleting the app on its own does not cancel a subscription.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Local pass-the-phone play works completely offline — no Wi-Fi, no signal, no account needed. The one exception is SharePlay over FaceTime, which needs a connection because FaceTime does.
How does the tilt work, and can I fix it if it feels off?
The app reads your device’s motion sensors (the accelerometer and gyroscope) to detect a tilt down for a correct guess and a tilt up for a pass. It all happens on your device and nothing is recorded. If tilts aren’t registering, hold the phone flat against your forehead in landscape and use a deliberate tilt rather than a small flick. The app does not use the camera at all.
How do I make my own deck?
Go to the deck list and create a new deck, then add your own words or phrases — inside jokes, names of everyone at the table, whatever the room will find funny. Custom decks are saved on your device alongside the built-in ones like Movie Buff, 90s Nostalgia and Blockbuster Hits.
Can I share a deck with a friend?
Yes. You can export a deck as a CSV file and send it using your device’s own share sheet — Messages, Mail, AirDrop, Files, or anything else you have installed. Once you’ve shared it, that file is handled by whichever app or service you sent it to, not by us.
How do I request deletion of my data?
There’s nothing on our side to delete — we don’t collect any data from this app and we don’t operate servers that hold your information. Your decks and settings are stored only on your device — the app has no iCloud sync and no server — so deleting the app removes them. If you’ve emailed us for support and want that email thread deleted, write to amoldesigns23@gmail.com and we’ll delete it.
Party Mode isn’t appearing on my TV.
Party Mode uses AirPlay, so your device and your Apple TV or AirPlay-compatible TV need to be on the same network, and DLU Pro needs to be active on that device. Check that AirPlay is reaching the TV from Control Center first — if the rest of your device can’t see the TV, the app won’t either.
