🎬 Don’t Look Up

Privacy Policy

Effective August 5, 2026

This policy explains how Don’t Look Up (the “app”) handles your information. The app is made by Now Studio LLC (“we”, “us”). It is short because there isn’t much to say.

The short version
  • We do not collect any data from this app.
  • There are no accounts and nothing to sign up for.
  • No analytics SDKs, no advertising, no trackers, no third-party profiling.
  • We never sell or share your data, because we don’t have any.
  • Your decks and settings are stored on your device.
  • Motion sensor readings are used for tilt gameplay only, on-device, and are never recorded or transmitted.
  • The app does not use the camera.
  • The app offers in-app purchases and subscriptions. Apple processes those payments — we never see your card details.

What we collect

Nothing. Our App Store “App Privacy” declaration for this app is: Data Not Collected — The developer does not collect any data from this app. That is accurate and it is the whole story.

We do not run servers that store your information, we do not have a database of users, and we could not identify you from anything the app does.

No accounts

You do not create an account, sign in, or give us an email address to use the app. There is no profile, no username, and no password.

No analytics, advertising, or trackers

The app contains no analytics SDKs, no crash-reporting services that send us your data, no advertising networks, and no third-party tracking libraries. Nothing follows you between apps or websites. We do not build a profile of you, and we do not sell, rent, or trade personal information — there is none to sell.

Motion sensors

Gameplay works by tilting the device: down for a correct guess, up to pass. To detect that, the app reads your device’s accelerometer and gyroscope while a round is in progress.

Those readings are processed entirely on your device, in the moment, purely to decide whether you tilted up or down. They are never stored, never logged, and never transmitted anywhere. Nobody — including us — receives them.

The camera

The app does not use the camera. It does not request camera access, take photos, or record video, even though you hold the device up to your face while playing.

Your decks and custom content

Built-in decks ship with the app. Any custom deck you create is stored locally on your device. We never see it.

You can export a deck as a CSV file and send it through your device’s own share sheet — Messages, Mail, AirDrop, Files, or whatever else you have installed. Once you share a file that way, the app or service you sent it to handles it under its own privacy policy. That transfer happens between you and that destination; it does not pass through us.

Purchases

The app offers in-app purchases, including auto-renewable subscriptions (DLU Pro Monthly and DLU Pro Annual) and a one-time Lifetime purchase. These unlock Party Mode.

All purchases are sold through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. Apple — not us — processes the payment. Apple handles the entire transaction: the price you pay, your payment method, your billing address, and any receipt. We never receive your card number, billing address, or any other payment details.

The app asks Apple whether the current Apple Account has an active entitlement, so it knows whether to unlock Pro. That check tells the app “unlocked” or “not unlocked”; it does not give us your identity. Apple’s own privacy policy governs what Apple does with the purchase information you give them.

Offline play

Local play works fully offline. You do not need Wi-Fi or a signal to play a round with people in the same room. SharePlay over FaceTime is the exception, because FaceTime itself needs a connection — that session runs through Apple’s FaceTime and SharePlay infrastructure, not through us.

Children’s privacy

The app is suitable for family play and does not collect data from anyone, of any age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and because we collect nothing at all, there is no children’s data for us to hold, use, or disclose. Parents who want to control purchases can use Screen Time and Ask to Buy in iOS Settings, which are managed by Apple.

Data deletion

Since we hold no data about you, there is nothing on our side to delete. Your decks and settings live on your device, so deleting the app removes them from it.

If you have emailed us for support and would like that correspondence deleted, write to amoldesigns23@gmail.com and we will delete the thread. For anything relating to your purchases or your Apple Account, contact Apple — that record belongs to them, not to us.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the app works in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top. Meaningful changes will be described here rather than slipped in quietly.
