ENDOW is a tracker, not a financial service. Read this part properly — it is about your money and your friendships.
Every transfer happens between you and your squad admin on a service ENDOW has nothing to do with. ENDOW does not process, escrow, insure, guarantee or refund any payment. A contribution logged in the app is a record of a claim, not a receipt.
Your squad's pooled cash sits with whoever runs the squad. ENDOW cannot verify that they still have it, cannot compel them to return it, and cannot help you recover it. Pool money only with people you would trust with it outside this app.
Marking a contribution verified is the admin stating that money arrived. ENDOW does not check this against any bank or payment service, and cannot. Disputes are between squad members.
iCloud ties shared data to the account that created it and provides no way to hand it over. Whoever creates a squad remains its admin for the life of that squad. If their account goes away or their iCloud storage fills up, the squad's shared records go with it.
Proposals and votes are a way for a squad to agree among themselves. Nothing in ENDOW is a recommendation to buy or sell anything, and ENDOW executes no trades and holds no securities. Any investing your squad does happens elsewhere, at your own risk.
Streaks, the recovery index and its milestones are general information about reducing or quitting a vice, based on published NHS and CDC quitting timelines and estimated from how long your streak is. They are not measurements of your body, not a diagnosis and not treatment.
Talk to a clinician about quitting. In particular, if you drink heavily every day, stopping suddenly can be dangerous — seek medical advice before you quit alcohol cold.
Squads depend on Apple's CloudKit. Availability, storage limits and the behaviour of shared data are Apple's responsibility, not ENDOW's.
ENDOW is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for money lost, records lost, or disagreements arising from use of the app.
