Common questions
Does ENDOW hold my money?
No. ENDOW never holds, moves, processes or insures a cent. Contributions go directly between you and your squad's admin on Venmo, Zelle, Cash App or cash. The app records what a member says they sent and what the admin confirms receiving — nothing more. Pool money only with people you'd trust with it outside the app.
My squad invite link does nothing
Open the link on an iPhone with ENDOW installed, while signed in to iCloud. Squads sync through CloudKit, so both the admin and every member need to be signed in to an iCloud account under Settings → [your name].
Why can't I hand my squad to someone else?
iCloud ties shared data to the account that created it and gives no way to transfer it. Whoever starts a squad stays its admin for the life of that squad. Pick someone who'll still be around.
A contribution I logged isn't counting
Only contributions the admin has confirmed count toward the pool total. Anything logged but unconfirmed shows separately as pending. Ask your admin to confirm it under Verify deposits.
Are the health milestones medical advice?
No. They're general public-health information based on published NHS and CDC quitting timelines, estimated from how long your streak is. ENDOW measures nothing about your body. Talk to a clinician about quitting — and if you drink heavily every day, talk to one before stopping, because stopping suddenly can be dangerous.
How do I delete my data?
Leaving a squad removes its records from your device. To remove everything, delete the app and then remove ENDOW's iCloud data in iOS Settings under your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage. See the privacy policy for the full picture.
