Alias Resume is licensed to you under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, which you can read here: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/.
The terms on this page supplement that agreement. They do not replace it, and nothing here should be read as contradicting it. Where this page and Apple's Standard EULA cover the same ground, Apple's agreement governs. The app is published by Now Studio LLC (“we”, “us”).
Your licence
Under Apple's Standard EULA you get a personal, non-transferable licence to use Alias Resume on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. The app is licensed to you, not sold.
Acceptable use
Use the app for its purpose — building and tracking your own job applications. Please do not:
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code, except where law expressly allows it;
- work around purchase checks or otherwise obtain paid features without paying for them;
- redistribute, resell, or sublicense the app or its bundled content, including the section template library and the prompt templates;
- use the app to misrepresent your qualifications, impersonate another person, or otherwise break the law.
You are responsible for what you write. The content of your resumes and cover letters — every claim, date, and detail — is yours, and accuracy is on you. The app helps you assemble and tailor; it does not verify anything, and it does not vouch for you to an employer.
Your content
Everything you put into the vault stays yours. We claim no ownership of your Blocks, Aliases, cover letters, or tracked applications, and we do not receive them — they live on your device and, when it is signed in to iCloud, in your own private iCloud container. Keeping your own backups of anything you would hate to lose is a good idea, since we cannot restore what we never hold.
The AI Prompt Library
Alias Pro includes a library of prompt templates you can copy and use with an AI assistant of your own choosing. If you choose to paste your resume content into a third-party AI service, that service's own terms and privacy policy govern what happens to it. We are not a party to that exchange and are not responsible for it, for the output it produces, or for how that provider handles what you send. Review what an AI assistant gives back before you put it in front of an employer.
Alias Pro
The core app is free to use. Alias Pro unlocks unlimited resumes and cover letters, Word (.docx) export, the AI Prompt Library, keyword coverage analysis, and the section template library. It is available in three forms:

All purchases are sold through Apple In-App Purchase. Apple handles the entire transaction and charges your Apple Account; we never receive your card number or billing address. The current price and the terms of any introductory offer are shown in the app before you confirm, and Apple confirms the charge.
Alias Pro Lifetime is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It does not renew and there is nothing to cancel.
Auto-renewal
The Monthly and Annual plans are auto-renewable subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends, at the price for the plan you are on. You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time in your Apple Account settings.
How to cancel
On your device, open Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions, select Alias Resume, and cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal — you keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for. Apple manages subscriptions, not the app, so we cannot cancel one for you and deleting the app does not cancel it.
Refunds
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. We cannot issue, approve, or reverse an App Store refund — the money goes to Apple, not to us, and only Apple can send it back. To request one, use Apple's process at support.apple.com (report a problem with your purchase). If you ran into a genuine problem with the app, tell us too at amoldesigns23@gmail.com — we may be able to fix it, even though the refund decision is Apple's.
Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind beyond those that cannot be excluded by law. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose, and we do not promise any outcome from using it — no interview, no offer, no result from any employer or applicant tracking system. Keyword coverage analysis and the job posting parser are aids to your own judgement, not guarantees of how a real system will read your resume.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the app — including lost data, lost job opportunities, or lost income. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here affects your statutory consumer rights.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app changes. The current version always lives at this address with its effective date at the top. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised terms.
