Life Till Now

Support

Life Till Now is a text-driven life simulator you play with other people. Start a world, invite a friend, and you both live inside the same story — aging up together, inheriting from each other, and answering moves the other player leaves waiting on your device.

Getting started

Do I need friends to play?

No. Leave “Fill empty seats with bots” on when you create a world and the empty seats are played by locally simulated characters that take real turns — they take jobs, buy property, propose, and occasionally rob you. If a friend joins later, they can take over a bot’s life.

How do I invite someone?

Open a world and tap the person icon in the top right. That creates an invitation link you can send through Messages, Mail, or anything else. When they open it and accept, the world appears on their device under “Shared with you” and they pick one of the open lives.

How does aging work with more than one player?

Worlds are created in one of two modes. In the default mode, whoever taps Age Up moves the entire room forward one year. In consensus mode, the year only resolves once every player has locked in their turn, so nobody gets skipped mid-decision.

Troubleshooting

The invitation link does nothing

My friend’s turn isn’t showing up

I bought a property and it was taken away

That’s intentional. Everyone in a world shops from the same market, and if two players buy the same listing at nearly the same moment, one of you wins and the other is refunded with a message. Nothing is silently overwritten.

Someone attacked me and I never got to respond

Hostile moves wait in your “Waiting on you” card until you answer. If a whole year passes without an answer, the game resolves it for you so an absent player can’t freeze the room. Open the app more often if you’d rather answer for yourself.

A world disappeared from my list

Archiving a world (Legacy tab → “Archive and end this world”) removes it for everyone and releases its iCloud storage. This can’t be undone. Worlds don’t disappear on their own.

Privacy in short

Life Till Now collects nothing. There’s no analytics, no advertising, no third-party services, and no server of ours. Your worlds live in your own iCloud account, and shared worlds are visible only to the people you invited. The full details are in the privacy policy.

Deleting your data

Archiving a world deletes it from iCloud. To remove everything at once, delete the app and then turn off Life Till Now under Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Storage, which clears the data it kept in your account.
