Chores Now is built so your family's information stays with your family. There is no account to create, we collect no personal data, and we have no way to see what you put in the app.

What Chores Now stores, and where
Chores Now keeps the things you enter — family members, chores, point balances, rewards, activity history, timers, and your settings — in your device's local storage. We operate no servers of our own and receive none of this information.
iCloud sync (optional)
If you turn on sync, your family's data is shared between your own devices through your personal Apple Account using Apple's iCloud. It travels through Apple's infrastructure under Apple's Privacy Policy and lands in your private iCloud container. We cannot access it.
Face ID and Touch ID (optional)
If you turn the lock on, Chores Now asks for Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode before parent-only actions such as approving a reward. There is no separate app password — Apple performs the check on your device and tells the app only whether it succeeded. Chores Now never receives, sees, or stores biometric data.
Purchases
Chores Now Pro is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Apple handles the entire transaction. We never receive your card number, billing address, or any other payment detail. To know whether Pro is active, the app reads the purchase receipt Apple stores on your device.
AirPlay and external displays
The family scoreboard shows the data already on your device on a screen you choose. Nothing is sent to us, and nothing leaves your local network beyond what Apple's AirPlay itself does.
Children's privacy
Chores Now is made for families, so we expect children to use it. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children. There are no accounts, no messaging, no advertising, no content shared outside the household's own devices, and nothing that leaves the app to a third party for profiling.
Sharing and selling
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share personal information. We have none to sell, rent, trade, or share.
Deleting your data
Deleting Chores Now from your device removes the data it stored there. If you had iCloud sync turned on, you can remove the app's stored data from iCloud in your device's Settings under your Apple Account → iCloud. Purchase history is held by Apple, not by us, and is managed through your Apple Account.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
